Our Core Services
Family/Whānau Support
We strive to promote positive change and enhance social outcomes for children, young people and their families/whānau. By providing wrap around support from Community Social Workers, Counsellors and Whānau Support Workers we aim to increase safety, stability, security, wellness and independence.
Youth Services
Under this umbrella we can offer youth support, mentoring and counselling. These are confidential one on one sessions which can be held at home, school or in our centre.
Strengthening Families
Strengthening Families provides a way for families to get co-ordinated access to services and is run in a way that meets the unique needs of each family/whānau. This builds on the strengths and dreams of families, with support from health, social services, education, and other services that are working together.
Family Harm Services
Family Harm Services is a core service at WCRC. We are part of the Integrated Safety Response (ISR) - a Waikato wide initiative designed to offer perpetrators and victims of family violence the opportunity to engage in services that can help to eliminate violence in the home.
Counselling
Counselling is offered by qualified counsellors in private rooms at the centre or can be referred to the appropriate person outside of the centre. Please call to discuss your needs and make an appointment.
